For me the last 17 games of the year are certainly going to be depressing and anti-climactic. I've heard someone on the radio say that it’s like Yankee Stadium is dying from a terminal illness. I think it might be a bit much to compare the closing of a building to a terminal disease, but for true Yankee fans in there Yankee world, that’s about right. Unfortunately I don’t plan on making another trip this year. I made my last trip on July 2nd against the Texas Rangers. An 18-7 beating. It was fun to see. I sat on the third base side of home plate all the way under the mezzanine, almost the last row. I’d probably been to a hundred Yankee games before that but had never sat in that area of the stadium before. The stadium was packed. It was an enjoyable night with my brother, my pregnant wife and my cousin. When is the last time you were at the stadium?
